Marla E was awarded the 2016 Seminole County Artist of the Year. She is a painter, sculptor and teacher. She participates in art shows in the US and Europe. Marla E’s art has been published in art books, appeared in TV commercials and on movie sets and has even been printed and stretched across a 4-story building.
Marla E has an extensive background in mural and faux finishing work for designers, builders, businesses and private residences. She also does graphic design work for everything from posters and logos, book and CD covers to packaging, including a city emblem.
Pre-pandemic, Marla had a steady stream of classes and workshops at her home studio and at local arts centers in the Central Florida area, teaching over 100 people a week from all walks of life, young and old. Marla E also teaches art at a school for children with special needs. “Learning through art is very healing and connecting. I design my classes so every skill level can enjoy art”. Since the stay-at-home and online learning, she has created several fun step by step art videos for her students to follow along.
