Amanda Grodman is a fourteen-year old Florida-based artist entering the ninth grade. Although she has been drawing ever since she can remember, Amanda has been delving into the world and possibilities of art since age nine, and considers pursuing a career as an animator or graphic design artist.
Achievements made by the young artist include winning class art awards, being a finalist in the “Kids For the Birds” art competition, and also receiving the honorable mention title in the South Florida “ArtiGras” event. Amanda has also done commissions for a school auction.
While she has experimented with various mediums and styles, Amanda enjoys drawing in a semi-realism style of various people, celebrities, and animals. Some art created by Amanda will reflect on a certain era, feeling, or emotion.
Amanda also enjoys playing tennis, piano, and has a pet gecko named Picasso.
